FUEL TESTING

Bacteria and Fungal Growth can cause major damage to all components of a diesel fuel system. This easy to use kit can detect Bacteria and Fungal Growth so that a appropriate course of treatment can be initiated.

		This is a single tank test kit. It is a sealed sterile bottle of liquid AGAR and 1 hypodermic syringe. First step is to secure a sample of fuel from the bottom of the tank. If this cannot be done then a sample from a agitated tank will do.

		Second step is to inject 5ml. of sampled fuel into the AGAR. Shake and let set. (we used two bottles for this demo, one of known good fuel and one of known bad)

		After setting for 30 hours the sample is compared to a chart that indicates the bottle on the right has Heavy Bacterial growth.

		After setting for 72 hours the sample is compared to a chart that indicates the bottle on the right has Heavy Fungal growth.

Now the traditional method of treatment for these conditions has been to Pump the Tank, Polish the Fuel, Treat with Chemical Biocides and other expensive methods.

NOW THE SENTRY WAY!

One thing all these problems have in common is they require the presents of WATER in the Tank. Nothing grows without water. Remove the water and nothing lives.

• Pumping the tank does not remove all the contamination and water, some remains to effect the new fuel.
• Polishing the fuel does not remove all the contamination and water, some remains to effect the new fuel.
• Biocides kill the growth but do nothing with the water, it remains to effect the new fuel.

Only Sentry's ability to convert the water to a combustable liquid make it a 100% effective treatment. Immediatly upon treatment with Sentry products all water is isolated from the fuel and all growth stops. This cumbustable liquid is burned off during normal use. A couple of filter changes later and the problem has been eliminated. Continued use of Senty products will prevent it from returning.
